Album Info:For the Burns Harbor steel mill area, this is a typical loaded coil car train headed up by two Norfolk Southern and moving slowly to the east. What is a little rarer are the large number of Gary Railway coil cars, all ex-Elgin Joliet and Eastern Rwy cars, and all new numbers to me. Must have been the latest batch of cars sold to Gary Railways.

ArcelorMittal steel plant is sending the white plume of steam into the air to the far right. The double track in the midhle foreground is the Chicago South Shore & South Bend interurban track with the caternary line above.
